Hanne B. Stegemüller's Family history and research
If you find genealogy boring, then you ended up at the wrong site. If on the other hand you consider the detective work a challenge and you have danish ancestors, you might have ended up at the right site
At this site I want to introduce myself and my genealogical research, especially regarding Thyregod and Brande Parishes in Nørvang District (Herred), Vejle County, Denmark, as well as Højby Parish in Ods District (Herred), Holbæk County, Denmark.
At the pictures on the left hand side you see four generations of Stegemüllers. In the very top my great grand parents Wilhelm Rudolph Stegemüller and Emilie Margrethe Nielsen. Then their son Rudolph Reinholdt Felix Stegemüller (my grand dad), underneath my grand dad with his wife Karen Sørensen and their children Kirsten and Jørgen Stegemüller. Then my father Jørgen as a young man, and the my parents at their wedding picture. In the bottom I am sitting at the archive in Viborg (LAV).
I passed my Master's degree in Law from the University in Copenhagen in January 1990, but since January 1992 I've been working as a controller of results and finances in several agencies within the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs. I am now working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark implementing large scale business applications.
